– Lifting work from the Mandis Continues Uninterrupted
Gurugram : The work of procurement and lifting of wheat is going on smoothly in the district during Rabi season 2025-26. So far 50806 metric tonnes of wheat has been procured in the mandis of the district by the government procurement agencies.
Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson of the Food and Supplies Department said that wheat is being procured by the government procurement agencies HAFED and Haryana Warehousing Corporation in the grain markets located at Farrukhnagar, Jatauli Mandi, Khod and Sohna.
He informed that 27972 metric tonnes of wheat has been procured by Haryana State Warehousing and 22834 metric tonnes by HAFED. The spokesperson said that till now 14400 metric tonnes of wheat has been lifted by Haryana State Warehousing and 10680 metric tonnes of wheat has been lifted by HAFED from the district’s mandis.
