Gurgaon : INIFD Gurgaon marked the beginning of another academic session with ‘Aarambh’ 16- a grand “Fresher’s cum Farewell Party”.The event was organized at the well known cup scale business & leisure hotel Optus Sarovar Premier, Sector 29, Gurgaon.
This year the fresher’s party had a different feel altogether. The students participated in good nos for the Mr. & Ms. INIFD contest. The selection for the same was an outcome of 3 rounds: Traditional, Western & Question round. The students of INIFD, Gurgaon raised an serious issue this time , they presented their collection
in the name of “THINK PINK” – a small step to aware people about breast cancer by wearing pink gowns as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Students showcased their political views through a Skit “RAJNEETIK RASSLEELA”, where in students dressed up in various characters and raised their voices against irrelevant discussion on serious issues in INDIA. The audience was blown out with the “Zara Hat Ke” filler items. The bollywood dance performances mesmerized the audience, while collection of Headgears & Hats – “CHAPEAU” added spice to the event. All the students & the faculty members seemed very enthusiastic & everyone thoroughly enjoyed
the party.
