Class XI Student Secured 3rd Position in the National Level Boxing Championship
Gurugram : LIONS PUBLIC SCHOOL sector 10 A Gurugram is moving forward every day by beating other schools of Delhi-NCR /Guugram. The young champions of this school will surely make the nation proud one day as they are performing soundly in every activities. Adding another feather in the series of Awards Komal Mehta of LPS Class XI secured 3rd Position in the National Level Boxing Championship conducted by CBSE.
Giving best performance She achieved bronze medal and a Commendable certificate . After this great achievement she is very optimistic and encouraged about her better future in the Boxing . She said that her inspiration is International Boxer “Mary Kom”. She follows her very well .
Very recently Haryana State Council for Child Welfare had organized a Painting Competition. It was held at Bal Bhawan, Gurugram. Here also LPS Students did well. Sakshi Sonawane of Class IX student of this school had secured 1st Prize in ‘Poster Making’ and 3rd Prize in ‘Painting’. In the same event Kirti Gandhi of LPS had also secured 2nd Prize and Shubham Jha of Class VIth scored a Consolation Prize.
In another Competition organized by Khel Academy held at Flow Sports Life Badminton Club, Sec-48, Hardik Batra secured 1st Position in Badminton Match U/16 Boys.
The management of LPS greeted all champions and felicitated them organizing a program. On this occasion Senior Principal Dr Nilima Prakash said that these champions are the real future of India in the sports. We are confident that they will get their goal by making own path . Indeed it is a proud moment for all staffs of the school .
Addressing the students, Rajeev Kimar , Manager Lions Public School, Sector 10 A , Gurugram said that going through their performances we can forsee that no any hurdle can restrict them to reach their goal. It is an encouraging and memorable moment for all students. The physical teachers are also encouraged to work more and more by means of training .
