ISTD Chairman A D Burman Motivated School Students to Contribute Towards Prevention of Pollution

ISTD Celebrates World Pollution Prevention Day at Rotary Public School 2GURUGRAM : Indian Society for Training and Development, Gurugram today celebrated World Pollution Prevention Day at Rotary Public School Sector 22 Gurugram. ISTD office bearers and Members with School Principal Mrs Sandeepa Rai planted 100 plants in the ground of the school. It primarily included plants that best fight pollution.

Prior to the plantation ISTD Chairman A D Burman addressed the students in school hall and briefed about Bhopal Gas Tragedy that caused several thousand casualties and that this day is celebrated in commemoration of that tragedy. He opined that prevention is better than cure, hence we should contribute to protect our surrounding. And Plantation is the best and effective contribution towards prevention of Pollution as it is the biggest threat to the present society and coming generation too.ISTD Celebrates World Pollution Prevention Day at Rotary Public School 3

Vijay Rai, Vice Chairman interacted with students with Quiz on pollution. Dr Neeru Bhatia,  M S Dahiya Treasurer, S C Deewan, R P Ojha and Dr Radha Sharma also interacted on the topic and contributed in plantation.

ISTD proposes to have other such social constructive interactions with other Colleges and school children in future. The institution’s core function is training and development but on social front it proposes health check up and blood donation also in the time to come.
