New Delhi : DCP West Delhi District Hareshwar V. Swami said the accused allegedly operated illegal international call centres and impersonated technical-support representatives of Apple/iOS and Microsoft to target victims in the United States and Canada.

West Delhi Police Bust Cross-Border Cyber-Fraud Network, 23 Arrested 2He said coordinated teams from Police Station Cyber and Special Staff conducted raids at three locations following a sustained investigation and detailed examination of digital evidence.

According to DCP Swami, the operation resulted in the arrest of 23 accused persons and the recovery of 27 laptops, 28 mobile phones, 11 routers, 36 headphones, 25 adapters, two high-end cars and ₹79,200 in cash.

The DCP said the case highlights the growing use of social-engineering techniques and fake technical-support identities in cross-border cyber fraud, and that further investigation is underway to establish the complete network and identify other possible links.
