Mumbai : The Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction) held a meeting of its core committee, during which detailed discussions were conducted on strengthening the party organisation and various other political and organisational matters.
NCP Working President Supriya Sule said that senior party leaders and elected representatives attended the meeting.
Those present included State President Shashikant Shinde; former ministers and MLAs Jayant Patil, Anil Deshmukh and Harshvardhan Patil; MLA Jitendra Awhad; former minister Rajesh Tope; Members of Parliament Dr Amol Kolhe and Nilesh Lanke; former MP Fauzia Khan; Rajendra Shingane; and former MLA Advocate Ashok Pawar.
The meeting reviewed the party’s organisational work and discussed various issues concerning its future political strategy and activities.
