Bhubaneswar : The 13th BRICS Education Ministers’ Meeting and the 3rd BRICS Senior Officials’ Meeting will be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from August 5 to August 7, bringing together education ministers and senior officials from BRICS member countries to strengthen cooperation in the education sector.
According to the Ministry of Education, the meetings will focus on expanding collaboration in several priority areas, including strengthening Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), enhancing skill development, and promoting collaborative research, innovation, and start-ups among BRICS nations.
Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi will represent India and participate in the 13th BRICS Education Ministers’ Meeting, where member countries are expected to discuss strategies for deepening academic cooperation and fostering innovation-driven growth.
The three-day deliberations will also explore ways to strengthen educational partnerships, encourage knowledge sharing, and promote capacity building among BRICS countries through collaborative initiatives.
The meetings are expected to reinforce the role of education as a key pillar of cooperation under the BRICS framework while advancing joint efforts in research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and skills development.
