New Delhi/Washington, D.C.: India’s Ambassador to the United States, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, participated in the India–U.S. Education Roundtable, bringing together leaders from 20 universities across the southeastern United States to explore new opportunities for academic and research collaboration.
The roundtable, hosted by the Consulate General of India in Atlanta, focused on strengthening cooperation in research partnerships, academic exchanges, innovation, technology collaboration, and the establishment of satellite campuses in India.
During the discussions, participants explored ways to deepen institutional partnerships and promote greater collaboration between Indian and American universities. The dialogue also highlighted the growing importance of innovation-led education and joint research initiatives in addressing global challenges.
Ambassador Kwatra underscored that education continues to be one of the strongest pillars of the India–United States strategic partnership, as both countries invest in future-ready talent, knowledge sharing, and technological advancement.
The roundtable reaffirmed the shared commitment of India and the United States to expanding higher education cooperation and creating new opportunities for students, researchers, and academic institutions in both countries.
