New Delhi/Islamabad: Dr. Satyanjal Pandey assumed charge as the Chargé d’Affaires at the High Commission of India in Islamabad on August 1, 2026.
As Chargé d’Affaires, Dr. Pandey will head the Indian mission in Pakistan and oversee the functioning of the High Commission, while managing bilateral diplomatic engagements and consular affairs in the absence of a High Commissioner.
His appointment comes at a significant time in India-Pakistan diplomatic relations, with the Indian mission continuing to handle official engagements and provide consular services.
