New Delhi: Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh met Sriram Taranikanti, the outgoing Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, during a courtesy call marking the completion of his tenure as the head of India’s premier civil services training institution.
During the meeting, Dr. Jitendra Singh appreciated Taranikanti’s commitment, dedication and leadership in steering the Academy during his tenure.
The Minister said that Taranikanti would be remembered for introducing significant reforms in the Academy’s curriculum and institutional culture, aligning civil services training with the national priorities of the Narendra Modi Government and the governance requirements of 21st-century India.
Dr. Jitendra Singh noted that the reforms undertaken under Taranikanti’s leadership have contributed to modernising the training framework for India’s civil servants and strengthening the Academy’s role in preparing officers for emerging governance challenges.
