Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of census operations during a visit to the Directorate of Census Operations, where he assessed the status of ongoing preparations for the national census.
During the review, the Chief Secretary commended officials for the successful completion of the House Listing and Housing Census phase and appreciated their efforts in carrying out the exercise efficiently.
He directed officials to organize a workshop on geospatial and digital tools before August 17 to strengthen the use of technology in the upcoming phases of the census and enhance operational readiness.
The review also focused on preparations for the second phase of the Census, which is scheduled to commence in February 2027. Officials discussed the roadmap for ensuring timely and effective implementation of the next stage of the nationwide enumeration exercise.
