New Delhi: Union Ministers J.P. Nadda and Dr. Jitendra Singh held a meeting in New Delhi with representatives of the protesting students, including Cockroach Janta Party’s Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das and National Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka.
The meeting continued for nearly two hours, during which the ministers heard the concerns raised by the student representatives and discussed the issues from various perspectives.
Following the meeting, Union Minister J.P. Nadda stated that the student representatives presented three key demands and five suggestions related to examination reforms.
The Minister informed that the government has taken note of their concerns and conveyed that another meeting with the representatives would be held tomorrow afternoon after internal discussions within the government.
The interaction comes amid ongoing concerns and demands from students regarding examination systems, transparency, and reforms. The government has assured that the issues raised will be examined and discussed further.
Union Minister J P Nadda said that “Today, we had come here to discuss the issues of the agitating people, and the conversation lasted for almost two hours. From the government’s side, I and Dr. Jitendra Singh Ji, Minister of the Government of India, participated in the conversation. We listened to their points, the discussions took place in a cordial atmosphere, and from many perspectives, all matters were thoroughly discussed in every way. Their main demands were three, and from the perspective of reforms, there were 5 suggestions for the examination. We have told them that we will meet with you again tomorrow afternoon, and then whatever further discussion or conversation takes place, we will inform you about it. ”
Cockroach Janta Party spokesperson Saurav Das, after meeting with Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh, said the government is positive on compensation for (NEET suicide) victims’ families and assures no more student detentions. He said the CJP demanded withdrawal of the FIRs.
