New Delhi: Ravneet Singh Bittu has resigned from the Union Council of Ministers with immediate effect. He was serving as the Minister of State for Railways and Minister of State for Food Processing Industries in the Government of India.
The resignation has been accepted by the President of India, as per an official Press Communiqué issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The announcement regarding the acceptance of his resignation was made through the official communication from the President’s Secretariat.
Ravneet Singh Bittu’s resignation marks a significant development in the functioning of the Union Council of Ministers. Further decisions regarding the allocation of responsibilities and portfolios are expected to be announced by the government as per procedure.
