New Delhi/Moscow : A group of motorcycle riders from India—comprising participants from Dehradun, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi—has embarked on an ambitious road expedition from Moscow to Vladivostok, traversing the vast expanse of the Russian Federation.
The riders described the journey as an extraordinary experience, noting that the continuously changing landscapes, road conditions, and regional diversity across Russia make the route feel like a “roller coaster ride” of terrains and climates.
Spanning thousands of kilometres, the Moscow–Vladivostok highway is regarded as one of the longest road journeys in the world, cutting across multiple time zones and offering a rare overland view of Russia’s geographical and cultural breadth.
The group said the expedition represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the country entirely by road, highlighting both the adventure and endurance required for such a long-distance ride. The journey also reflects the growing interest among Indian adventure enthusiasts in extreme cross-country motorcycle expeditions.
