-Indian Ambassador, Chinese Commerce Official Review Bilateral Trade Mechanisms
New Delhi/Beijing : India’s Ambassador to China, Pradeep Kumar Rawat Doraiswami, on Tuesday met Wang Liping, Director General of the Department of Asian Affairs at China’s Ministry of Commerce, to discuss ways to further enhance bilateral trade and commercial engagement.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a range of issues related to trade and economic cooperation, including existing bilateral dialogue mechanisms. They also explored opportunities to deepen collaboration in sectors of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular communication on trade-related matters.
The discussions come as India and China continue efforts to strengthen economic engagement through institutional dialogue and cooperation despite broader geopolitical challenges.
