Gurugram : In compliance with the guidelines of the Haryana Government, under the city cleanliness campaign being run by Municipal Corporation Gurugram, the corporation teams were active in all four zones on Monday. By running a special cleaning campaign under the leadership of Joint Commissioners, the cleanliness system was improved on the main roads, markets and public places.
In Zone-1, under the leadership of Joint Commissioner Dr. Naresh Kumar, the sanitation workers did the cleaning work from Hero Honda Chowk to Bakhtawar Chowk. During this, special attention was given to lifting the garbage accumulated on the main road and cleaning the drains. In Zone-2, under the leadership of Joint Commissioner Vishal Kumar, the cleaning teams cleaned the road from Shyam Baba Chowk, Dhankot to Shobha City. During the campaign, the garbage thrown illegally on the roadside was picked up and the cleanliness system was improved.
In Zone-3, a special cleanliness drive was carried out on Old Railway Road in the presence of Joint Commissioner Dr. Jaiveer Yadav. Here, along with garbage collection, the work of cleaning the drains and removing dust was done. In Zone-4, under the leadership of Joint Commissioner Ravindra Malik, the road was cleaned from Signature Tower Chowk to Millennium City Center Metro Station. Along with this, cleanliness inside and outside the Sector-27 Community Center was also ensured.
Corporation Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya said that this special city cleanliness drive was started on Sunday from the corporation offices and market areas, which will continue in the future as well. The cleanliness system of the city will be strengthened by running special cleanliness drives on main roads, streets, market areas and other public places. He appealed to the city dwellers to also play an active role in this campaign. He said that do not spread garbage here and there and also stop others from doing so. Clean Gurugram will be made with the cooperation of citizens.
