Gurugram : For the CET examination to be conducted on 26-27 July by Haryana Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of Group C posts, 145 examination centers will be set up in 107 educational institutions in Gurugram district. There will be arrangement for seating of 36,372 candidates in one session of the examination to be conducted in four different sessions on both the days. The district administration is continuously making preparations for the necessary arrangements related to the convenience of the candidates and for conducting the examination in a copy-free and transparent manner in the district.
DC Ajay Kumar reviewed the preparations related to the examination in a meeting of officials in the conference hall located in the Mini Secretariat on Monday evening. He said that all the SDMs of the district will ensure the availability of all the necessary arrangements for the examination in their respective areas.
The DC said that transport arrangements should be ensured for the candidates appearing in the examination. For this, the candidates should be taken to the examination centers in time by forming clusters. The first session of the examination will be held in the district on July 26 and 27 from 10 am to 11.45 am and the second from 3.15 pm to 5 pm. Entry to these examination centers will be according to the time set by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
He said that the examination centers for those applying for the examination from Gurugram district will be in Faridabad district.
For Faridabad district, bus service will start from Gurugram bus stand at 4 am on July 26 and 27 in the morning while from Sohna and Pataudi bus stand at 5 am. Apart from this, bus service will also start from the new Gurugram area to Faridabad. For the students coming from outside, shuttle service within the district will be available from Tau Devi Lal Stadium, near Gymkhana Club in Sector 29, near IMT Chowk in Manesar. In Faridabad district, local bus service will be available from NIT and Ballabhgarh Bus Stand and Sector 12.
