– Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya appeals to property owners
Gurugram : There is an important information for the property owners of Gurugram. Municipal Corporation Gurugram is giving a discount of 10 percent on property tax for the financial year 2025-26, now only 10 days are left to avail it. This discount will be given to those property owners who will pay the property tax by self-certification of their property by 31st July 2025.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya has appealed to all the property holders of Gurugram to take advantage of this scheme in time. He said that property owners should take full advantage of this opportunity and do self-certification and pay tax on time. This process is completely online and transparent, which will provide convenience to the citizens and will also increase the income of the Municipal Corporation.
What is Self Certification
Under Self Certification, property owners have to verify the details related to their property – such as area, type of construction, use (residential/commercial) and other necessary information, and update it on the NDC Haryana portal. This process helps in correct determination of property tax.
Terms to avail discount
The property owner has to pay the property tax by 31 July 2025, it is mandatory to do self certification of the property before payment and 10% discount will be applicable only on full payment on time.
How to pay and self certification
Visit the official website of Urban Local Bodies Haryana, NDC Haryana. Log in with your registered mobile number and go to the Property Tax section and enter your property information.
Click Yes in all the details for self certification and submit. Pay the tax online and keep the payment receipt safe.
The Municipal Commissioner also said that through property tax, the Municipal Corporation operates basic facilities in the city such as road repair, sanitation system, water supply and street lights etc. Timely tax payment by citizens directly contributes to the development of the city.
