– Melodies emanating from tabla, flute and sitar enthralled the audience

Gurugram :  The cultural evening “Chai Chaupal and Monsoon Melodies” organised by Kalagram Sanstha, formed by the District Administration and Municipal Corporation Gurugram to promote art and culture, was organised at Chinmaya Gurudham. The audience participating in the programme thoroughly enjoyed the melodies of classical music and the captivating presentations of instrumental music.

In the musical evening, famous tabla player Anup Banerjee mesmerised the audience with his unique beats. The melodious tunes emanating from Pravar Tandon’s flute made the monsoon season even more melodious. During this programme, Shubhrodeep Pathak displayed his unique talent through the melodious tunes of sitar playing. The performances of all the three artists provided a unique experience of musical beauty. The impressive stage management of Preeti Mishra and Rupali Ganguly kept the entire program alive.

Shikha Gupta, Director of Kalagram Society, while addressing the program, said that the aim of the organization is to bring positive change in the society through music and art and to provide an impressive platform to the artists to showcase their talent. Through this event, the organization has once again proved its purpose worthwhile.

She said that the presence of a large number of art lovers in the programs organized by the organization is a direct proof of the fact that Gurugram is becoming a strong center of cultural activities. On this occasion, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the artists, audience and colleagues, with whose active cooperation this program was successfully completed.
