– Water supply to village Sikandarpur Ghosi and surrounding areas will be strengthened by the new boosting station – Rao Narbir Singh
Gurugram : Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh on Tuesday formally laid the foundation stone for the construction work of a new boosting station in village Sikandarpur Ghosi located in Ward No. 1 of Municipal Corporation Gurugram. A large number of villagers, public representatives, municipal corporation officials and dignitaries were present on this occasion.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, the Cabinet Minister said that the Haryana Government is determined to provide quality basic facilities to the citizens. He said that with the construction of this boosting station, the water supply system in the surrounding areas apart from Sikandarpur Ghosi will be strengthened and there will be unprecedented improvement in water pressure. At present, citizens used to face problems due to low pressure in the higher parts of the area. This project is a meaningful initiative towards solving the old demand of the citizens.
He said that in view of the increasing population in Gurugram, it is very important to modernize the water supply infrastructure. For this purpose, the Municipal Corporation is implementing schemes to strengthen the water supply in several phases. This will ensure adequate supply of clean water to every family. During this, he instructed the officials that the construction work should be completed in a timely and quality manner and it should be continuously monitored.
