11 Years of Current BJP Government at teh Centre have Been India’s Golden Years : Anil Vij

Chandigarh : Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Anil Vij said today that the current BJP government at the Centre has completed 11 years in office and these 11 years have been India’s golden period. During this time, development has taken place in every sector and for every section of society. He further said that the people of India have decided to uproot and throw out the disease called Congress.

Sh. Vij was responding to questions asked by media personnel in Panchkula regarding the BJP government’s 11-year tenure at the Centre.

Earlier we used to import in the defense sector, but today we are exporting – Vij

He proudly said that earlier India used to import in the defense sector, but today we are exporting. He said that if someone wants to know the impact of our BrahMos missile, they should go ask Pakistan and see how far India has come in terms of technology. He mentioned that before the BJP government came to power, the number of highways was much less, but now they have more than doubled. Similarly, the number of airports has tripled since the BJP came to power. The number of medical colleges has also tripled. Today, institutions like AIIMS have been opened in every state. He added that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the government is providing free treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh for the poor.

Rail has reached Kashmir, known as the paradise on Earth – Vij

He said that rail connectivity has been extended to Kashmir, which is known as the paradise on Earth. When children around the world are asked where the world’s highest railway bridge is, the answer will be that it is in India. He stated that our engineers will be spoken of with pride both in India and abroad, and the voice of our technology will echo internationally.

Kharge no longer pays attention to his health in his hunger for power – Vij

When asked about Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement claiming that the country has suffered losses over the past 11 years, Sh. Vij sarcastically responded that Kharge’s eyesight has weakened because in his quest for power, he no longer takes care of his health. He claimed that Kharge is unable to see the development taking place in India.

India has the right to Sindhu’s waters because the name Sindhu itself comes from ‘Hindu’ – Vij

Targeting the Congress party, he said that the country will never forget what Congress did to it. He claimed that India had the rightful claim to the waters of the Sindhu River because the name Sindhu comes from “Hindu”, and the river is religiously significant. Yet, Congress leaders gave away 80% of Sindhu’s waters to Pakistan. Similarly, by implementing Article 370, Congress separated Kashmiris from India, even though Maharaja Hari Singh had signed the same instrument of accession as the other 550 princely states that joined India. However, a part of Kashmir ended up under Pakistan’s control.

Due to the failure of Congress leaders in 1971, India could not get POK – Vij

Sh. Vij said that initially our army was not even sent to Kashmir, but when it began winning, the then Congress Prime Minister declared a unilateral ceasefire at the UN, and that area became POK, which has remained a problem ever since. He reminded that in 1971 there was a golden opportunity to reclaim POK. Had the leaders wanted, India could have taken POK after the 1971 war because we had over 90,000 Pakistani prisoners of war. The Congress government at that time could have negotiated with Pakistan and made them surrender POK to India.

Indira Gandhi trampled the Constitution and imposed Emergency in India – Vij

Continuing his attack on Congress, Sh. Vij said that then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi trampled on the Constitution and imposed Emergency in India. Around 1.5 lakh people were jailed without any fault during that period.

The opposition knows it is going to be wiped out in the upcoming Bihar and Bengal elections – Vij

When asked about alleged electoral manipulation, he said that the opposition is trying to create a narrative in advance about their expected defeat in Bihar and Bengal. He questioned why they are raising concerns now and why Rahul Gandhi didn’t earlier write to the Election Commission. He said the opposition knows very well that they are going to be wiped out in the upcoming elections in Bihar and Bengal.
