MCG Commissioner and Officials discuss Problems of Industrial areas of Gurugram, PFTI Raised Several Issues

Gurugram : Municipal Corporation Gurugram Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg and his team held an important meeting with industrialists to provide all the necessary basic facilities in the industrial areas of Gurugram. Joint Commissioner, Chief Engineer, Chief Town Planner and other senior officials were present in the meeting held at the office of Progressive Federation of Trade and Industry (PFTI) located in Sector 37, Gurugram.

PFTI Chairman Deepak Maini raised various problems of the industrial area in the meeting. These mainly included the need to clean the sewer line of Sector 37 before the rains, solution to the problems arising due to old sewer lines especially in Pace City 1 and Pace City 2, need to repair old water lines and drainage system and lay new sewer lines, repair of street lights of the entire industrial area, need to build a club or community building in Sector 37, so that there can be a social place for industrialists and employees, problem of excessive charging by the garbage collection company, etc. PFTI Vice Chairman Dr. SP Agarwal also drew attention to the problem of sewer overflow and the condition of the footpath.

The Municipal Commissioner assured the industrialists that the issues raised by them would be resolved on priority baisis. He said that all the drains and sewers will be cleaned before the rains and work on the big sewer line plan will be started after the rains. Apart from this, all other problems will be resolved within the time limit.

Joint Commissioner Vishal Kumar, Chief Engineer Vijay Dhaka, Chief Town Planner Sanjeev Mann, DTP Sumit Malik, Executive Engineer Sanjeev Kumar, PFTI Vice Chairman Dr. SP Agarwal, Director Advocate RL Sharma, General Secretary Rakesh Batra, Gurugram District President PK Gupta and other officials were also present in the meeting.
