PM Narendra Modi to gift Important Development Projects to Haryana on 14th April

Hisar / Chandigarh  : The land of Haryana is going to witness a golden moment on April 14, when the country’s illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come here and write a new saga of development. On this occasion, the foundation stone and inauguration of many important projects will be done in Yamunanagar and Hisar, which will be a strong step towards realizing the dream of self-reliant India and prosperous Haryana. These projects will not only give new strength to the infrastructure of Haryana, but will also pave new paths of employment for the youth.

Grand launch of 800 MW Thermal Power Plant in Yamunanagar

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of 800 MW modern thermal power unit of Haryana Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (HPGCL) in Yamunanagar. This third unit to be built on a vast land of 233 acres will entail an investment of Rs 8,469 crore. The project will be completed in a time frame of 52 months, and by March 2029, its commercial operation will start and will illuminate Haryana with the golden light of energy. This unit will prove to be a milestone in making Haryana self-reliant in the field of energy and will ensure uninterrupted power supply to industries.

Compressed Biogas Plant in Yamunanagar

Inspired by the “Gobardhan Mission” of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state of Haryana is continuously setting new dimensions towards cleanliness, sustainable development and self-reliance. In this sequence, the foundation stone of Compressed Biogas Plant is being laid in collaboration with BPCL at a cost of ₹ 90 crore at Mukarbpur in Yamunanagar-Jagadhari Municipal Corporation area. The project, which will be completed by the year 2027, will have an annual production capacity of 2,600 metric tonnes. This plant will not only be helpful in managing organic waste, but will also prove to be a milestone in the direction of clean energy production and environmental protection.

Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Hisar will give wings to flight

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will do a grand inauguration of air services from Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Hisar. In this historic moment, he will flag off the first flight to Ayodhya. 2 flights a week from Hisar to Ayodhya, 3 flights a week for Hisar-Jammu, Hisar-Ahmedabad, Hisar-Jaipur and Hisar-Chandigarh will create a new history in the field of aviation in the country and Haryana. On the same day, the foundation stone of the second phase of Hisar Airport will be laid, which will cost Rs 413 crore. This phase will be completed by April 17, 2027 and will bring pride to Haryana with a grand passenger terminal of 37,790 square meters, cargo terminal of 2,235 square meters and air traffic control building. This airport will make Hisar the new star of connectivity and pave the way for touching new heights of business.

Rewari Bypass: A strong step towards the development of the state and smooth traffic

The successful implementation of the Rewari bypass project has been completed as an important link in the concrete steps being taken by the state government to ensure the all-round development of the state and modern transport system. This 14.4 km long bypass, constructed at a cost of ₹ 1069.42 crore on hybrid annuity mode under the Bharatmala project, has now been fully opened for commercial operation. This bypass will not only reduce the traffic load of Rewari city, but will also give new impetus to the economic and social activities of the state by reducing the journey from Delhi to Narnaul by one hour. Under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, the country’s infrastructure is being strengthened at a rapid pace, and this project is a proof of that commitment.

Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, we are moving rapidly towards realizing the vision of ‘Developed India’. Our resolve is that the light of development reaches every citizen and the country establishes new dimensions in the direction of self-reliance. The Haryana Government, in collaboration with the Center, is leaving no stone unturned to bring public welfare schemes on the ground. This visit of the Prime Minister will rise a new sun of development for Haryana. With the unbroken power of energy and infinite speed of flight, it will take Haryana to the peak of progress, where every farmer’s barn will be filled with prosperity, every youth’s dreams will get flight, every entrepreneur will get a sky of new opportunities, and the smile of self-reliance will bloom on the face of every family. This visit will not only give Haryana a new chapter of economic prosperity, but will also prove to be a historic step towards making it one of the most developed states of the country.
