Gurugram : Progressive Federation of Trade and Industry (PFTI) organized a monthly meeting at Club Kapri in Gurugram late Saturday evening. There was an in-depth discussion on the topic “One Nation, One Election”. Eminent personalities and political representatives from the industry and business world participated in this meeting. Gurugram’s newly elected Mayor Rajrani Malhotra was present as the chief guest and BJP’s national spokesperson Gopal Krishna Aggarwal was present as the keynote speaker. On this occassion a memorandum was handed over to the Mayor Gurugram by Federation’s Vice Chairman Dr. S.P. Agarwal and PFTI team in which effective solution to the problem of garbage disposal in the city has been requested .
In the meeting, officials of various industrial organizations supported One Nation, One Election and said that it is in the interest of the country and the industry. On this occasion, BJP National Spokesperson Gopal Krishna Aggarwal said, it is necessary to create a favorable environment for this initiative across the country. Holding elections at different times leads to huge wastage of government money and resources. If all elections are held simultaneously, this money can be invested in infrastructure and industrial development.
He further said, today there are some forces in the world who do not want to see India grow. This is the reason that whenever any corrective step is taken, efforts are made to stop it. We have to break this negative narrative and take the truth of One Nation, One Election to the public. This is not only political but also economic reform. This will increase policy stability at every level and strengthen investor confidence.
On this occasion, Chief Patron of Progressive Federation of Trade and Industry and senior BJP leader Bodhraj Sikri said as a speaker that for economic stability and development in the country, we should support the initiative of One Nation, One Election. This is a visionary step, which will benefit the nation.
