Gurugram, 26 March 2025 : Divisional Commissioner Hisar, Secretary Haryana Energy Department Haryana and Managing Director of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, A Srinivas chaired a review meeting regarding the development works of DHBVN at the local office today. In this meeting, the progress of the work to be done under the Smart Grid Project and the evaluation of the Smart Meter tender was reviewed. Details of the action to be taken to get the work left by the earlier working company completed were placed.
The Managing Director directed the Board of Directors and officers to complete the tender process as per the rules of the Electricity Corporation and send it for further action. He ordered to complete the approved works soon and assess the pending development works and work for the permission of high-ranking officials. He took stock of the status of the Restructured Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) in Gurugram and Faridabad districts and ordered to expedite the work to be done.
He directed all the concerned officers to expedite the tender process and provide infrastructural facilities. RDSS is a scheme aimed at strengthening the supply infrastructure. Under this, result-linked financial assistance is given to DISCOMs. With this assistance, DISCOMs can improve their operational capacity and financial stability.
DHBVN Director (Finance) Ratan Kumar Verma, Director (Project) Vipin Gupta, Director (Operation) Vineeta Singh, Chief Engineer Administration Rajneesh Garg, Chief Engineer Commercial Anil Sharma and other concerned officials participated online in this meeting.
