Encroachment and unauthorized construction related complains must be addressed promptly : Dr. Balpreet Singh

Gurugram, March 25 : Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Gurugram, Dr. Balpreet Singh warned that prompt action should be ensured on complaints related to encroachment and unauthorized construction. If any officer is negligent in this matter and action is delayed without any concrete reason, then action will be taken against him as per rules.

The Additional Municipal Commissioner said this while hearing the complaints related to encroachment and unauthorized construction received in the Samadhan Camp organized in the corporation office on Tuesday. He said that the Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer of the Enforcement Wing should take the complaints related to their areas seriously and visit there immediately and stop unauthorized construction on the spot and implement demolition action after completing the process of giving notice etc. He clearly said that there should not be any kind of excuse or negligence in this matter.

At the same time, during the hearing of complaints related to sewerage overflow, Dr. Singh also directed the officials to resolve the matter soon. On Tuesday, 13 complainants reached the Samadhan camp, most of whose complaints were related to encroachment, unauthorized construction and sewerage overflow. The Additional Municipal Commissioner directed the officials to ensure quick action by setting a time limit.

The Additional Municipal Commissioner said that in compliance with the guidelines issued by the Haryana Government, Samadhan camps are being organized continuously in the Municipal Corporation area. Their main objective is to resolve public grievances quickly and effectively. Samadhan camps improve communication between the public and officials and are helpful in quick resolution of local problems.
