Haryana Govt appoints Chief Engineer K C Aggarwal as Director of North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation

Gurugram, March 22 : In exercise of powers conferred by the Governor of Haryana under the provisions contained in the Articles of Association of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Kailash Chand Agarwal, Chief Engineer, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has been appointed as Director/Operations on the Board of Directors of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam.

AK Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department, Government of Haryana has issued orders of his appointment. His appointment will be for a period of one year or till the date of retirement, whichever is later.

KC Agarwal has assumed charge as Director. Earlier, he was working as Chief Engineer in Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam. During his 35-year service career in DHBVN, he worked in different districts while working on various posts. In view of his long service period and experience, he has currently been promoted to the post of Director.

Mr Agarwal has come a long way in the power department. He joined Haryana State Electricity Board in April 1990, posted as SDO in various sub divisions of Panipat, Faridabad and Charkhi Dadri. Promoted to the post of Executive Engineer in 2006 and posted at NIT Faridabad. In 2012, worked in Sub Urban and City Division in Gurgaon for 2 years. Promoted in January 2015 and posted as SE Bhiwani and made significant progress in reducing line losses, which was appreciated by the Ministry of Power.

In April 2017, Gurugram Circle was bifurcated and new circle Gurugram-2 came into existence. He headed the new circle till November 2019. Promoted in December 2019 and posted as Chief Engineer Operation Delhi. Since October 2021, he was holding the post of Chief Engineer Commercial and Material Management.
