GURUGRAM : Lions Public School,Sec-10 A, Gurugram organised ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas ‘ program on the occasion of the 142 end Birth anniversary of the first Home Minister of India Sardar Patel on 31st October with great fervor and enthusiasm by the volunteers of school’s NSS Unit 1. All staffs of the school took oath to be dedicated for the unity of the nation. The event reflected the unity and integrity of the country in full length as it was attended by all.
The Vice Principal Ms. Indu Kaushik explained the students about the life and contribution of Sardar Patel in making a harmonious society. She exhibited Patels contribution in the freedom movement and afterward as the First Home Minister of Indai.
The NSS volunteers administered a pledge which was dedicated to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and also strive hard to spread this message among countrymen. School Manager Rajiv Kumar , Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash, Principal Ms Renu Verma ,Vice Principal Ms Indu Kaushik, programme officer Kiran Bala , HOD physical education Mr Laxman Singh and faculty members along with the NSS Volunteers took the pledge to pay a grateful salute to Sardar Vallabhai Patel, the pioneer of national unity.
Aditi Yadav, NSS Volunteer recited a beautiful poem in memory of Sardar patel.
On this special occasion Rajiv Kumar, Manager , Lions Public School said that Sardar Patel is a source of inspiration for all of us . The aim of introducing this event is to communicate his contribution to the present generation so that they must be aware about the difficulties faced by our great leaders in making India secured and unite. We must pay tribute to our great Leader, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on his birth anniversary by remembering his extraordinary works for the country.
Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash shared her views about the important role of Sardar Patel during freedom struggle. She said that It was he who gave us unite India and an administrative structure that is still followed by our central and state governments.
The Principal Ms. Renu Verma urged the students to learn from the life of Sardar Patel and be the leader of your life.
NSS Programme officer Ms Kiran Bala paid tribute to the contributions of Sardar Patel and thanked everyone present there.
