New Delhi: The 6th National Parliamentarians Badminton Championship was held at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi, bringing together Members of Parliament from across the country to promote sportsmanship, fitness, and healthy competition.
The event witnessed the participation of several parliamentarians, including Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, MP Anurag Thakur, Naveen Jindal, Deepender Hudda and Meet Hayer. Also present were Rajiv Shukla, Secretary (Sports), Constitution Club of India, and Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Secretary (Administration), Constitution Club of India, along with other Members of Parliament.
The championship served as a platform to encourage physical fitness, strengthen camaraderie among legislators, and foster greater interaction through the spirit of sports. Participants highlighted that such initiatives help promote a healthy lifestyle while enhancing mutual engagement among Members of Parliament beyond the legislative arena.
