Congress Appoints AICC Observers for Selection of DCC Presidents Under Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan

New Delhi, August 6: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has approved the appointment of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Observers under the party’s Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan for the selection of District Congress Committee (DCC) Presidents in several States and Union Territories.

According to a press release issued by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, the appointments have been made with immediate effect.

The newly appointed observers will oversee the process of selecting DCC Presidents in the following regions:

  • West Bengal
  • Telangana (3 districts)
  • Ladakh
  • Haryana (7 districts)
  • Uttar Pradesh (additional appointments)

For West Bengal, the Congress has appointed a 31-member panel of AICC Observers. The appointees include Vikar Rasool Vani, G. Rudra Raju, Raghu Sharma, H.S. Lucky, Mohd Jawaid, Rajesh Thakur, Jagdish Jangid, Abdul Hanan, Dheeraj Gurjar, Rokibul Hossain, Ripun Borah, Shobha Oza, Rao Dan Singh, Umesh Patel, Rekibuddin Ahmed, Dr. Asif Nazar, Manish Yadav,

Shishpal Keharwala, Suresh Kumar, Abdul Khaleque, Roslina Tirkey, Rajesh Rathore, Amit Sihag, Tilotama Loitongbam, Shamina Shafiq, Maqsood Khan, Jayshankar Pathak, Santosh Kolkunda, Rajesh Garg, Harpal Thakur, and Neelesh Chaturvedi.

The appointments are part of the Congress party’s ongoing organisational strengthening initiative, Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, aimed at streamlining the process of appointing District Congress Committee Presidents and strengthening the party’s organisational structure at the grassroots level.
