New Delhi/Moscow: The death toll in the explosion at a restaurant in Russia’s capital, Moscow, has risen to five, as reported RT Hindi.
The report said that two more critically injured people died during treatment, increasing the number of fatalities from three to five.
Quoting officials, RT Hindi reported that several others were injured in the explosion and that authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said a detailed investigation is underway and assured that all those responsible for the attack would be identified and brought to justice. He said law enforcement agencies are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the blast and that those found responsible would face strict legal action.
The exact cause of the explosion has not yet been officially disclosed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
