Jaipur : Secretary (CPV & OIA) in the Ministry of External Affairs, Smt. Sripriya Ranganathan, and Rajasthan Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas jointly chaired the Videsh Sampark Programme in Jaipur on Thursday, reaffirming the Centre and the State’s commitment to closer collaboration on international engagement.
The meeting focused on enhancing coordination between the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Rajasthan Government in line with the spirit of cooperative federalism. Discussions covered key areas including strengthening engagement with the Indian diaspora, extending support to Indian students studying overseas, promoting safe and ethical migration practices, and expanding trade and investment opportunities for the state.
The programme underscored the importance of sustained Centre-State cooperation in addressing global outreach priorities while facilitating stronger economic and people-to-people ties through coordinated efforts.
