New Delhi : Indian Ambassador to China, V. Doraiswami, held a cordial meeting with Mr. Zhang Yigong, Party Secretary of Quanzhou, to discuss opportunities for expanding cooperation between India and the historic Chinese city.
During the interaction, both sides explored possibilities of further strengthening bilateral engagement in key areas including commerce, investment, and cultural exchanges.
Ambassador Doraiswami and Mr. Zhang highlighted the deep historical connections between India and Quanzhou, which have existed for centuries through maritime trade, cultural interactions, and people-to-people contacts.
The two sides expressed their shared interest in building upon these longstanding links and enhancing future cooperation through greater economic engagement, cultural understanding, and closer exchanges.
