Gurugram : The Gurugram administration has intensified preparations for the inauguration ceremony of the much-awaited Tower of Justice, ensuring that all arrangements are completed in a smooth, organised, and timely manner. The modern judicial infrastructure project will be inaugurated on July 12 by the Chief Justice of India (CJI).
A coordination meeting was held at the venue on Thursday under the chairmanship of District and Sessions Judge Narendra Sura to review the preparations for the grand inauguration ceremony. During the meeting, detailed assessments of arrangements made by various departments were carried out, and officials were directed to complete all pending tasks within the stipulated timeline.
The Administrative Nodal Officer for the event and Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sonu Bhatt also briefed the District and Sessions Judge about the progress of preparations being undertaken by different departments.
Focus on Security, Traffic Management and Visitor Facilities
During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on key arrangements, including movement of guests, VIP security and protocol, parking facilities, medical assistance, fire safety services, electricity and drinking water supply, cleanliness, signages, and internal arrangements within the court premises.
Clear responsibilities were assigned to each department, with instructions to ensure that all arrangements are completed well in advance through effective coordination and teamwork.
Tower of Justice a Major Milestone for Judicial Infrastructure: District and Sessions Judge
District and Sessions Judge Narendra Sura said that the inauguration of the Tower of Justice is not merely the opening of a building, but a significant milestone towards strengthening Gurugram’s judicial infrastructure.
He directed officials to ensure that all facilities match the importance and dignity of the occasion and that judicial officers, advocates, distinguished guests, and citizens do not face any inconvenience during the ceremony.
ADC Sonu Bhatt Reviews Final Preparations
ADC and Administrative Nodal Officer Sonu Bhatt instructed concerned departments to complete the final inspection and testing of all arrangements before the event.
He emphasised the importance of continuous coordination among different departments during the ceremony to ensure quick response and smooth management in any situation.
Special focus has been given to cleanliness, beautification of the venue and surrounding areas, and traffic management to ensure a seamless experience for visitors and guests.
Senior Officials Attend Coordination Meeting
The meeting was attended by several senior officials, including DCP Headquarters Dr. Anshu Singla, DCP Traffic Prateek Gehlot, DCP West Karan Goyal, GM Roadways Major (Retd.) Gayatri Ahlawat, Additional Municipal Commissioner Ravinder Yadav, SDM Badshahpur Sanjeev Singla, Additional CEO of GMCBL Ravinder Kumar, Joint Municipal Commissioner Dr. Preetpal Singh, SDM Gurugram Hitendra Kumar, SDM Manesar Darshan Yadav, Joint Commissioner Manesar Municipal Corporation Lokesh Yadav, DIPRO Bijender Kumar, DIO Suman, and senior officers from various departments.
With all departments working in coordination, the administration is making comprehensive arrangements to ensure that the inauguration of the Tower of Justice becomes a landmark event for Gurugram’s judicial system.
