Victoria, Seychelles : Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam on the sidelines of his visit to Seychelles, with the two leaders holding discussions to further strengthen the longstanding partnership between India and Mauritius.
The meeting focused on the entire spectrum of the India-Mauritius Enhanced Strategic Partnership, covering areas such as development cooperation, maritime security, trade, capacity building and people-to-people exchanges.
Both leaders reiterated their commitment to expanding collaboration under Vision MAHASAGAR, India’s Neighbourhood First policy and the shared objective of advancing the interests of the Global South.
They also exchanged views on key regional and international developments and reaffirmed their resolve to work closely on issues of mutual interest while deepening bilateral cooperation across strategic sectors.
