Chandigarh : Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that the last 12 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi have marked a golden era in India’s development journey, with significant achievements across economic growth, infrastructure expansion, national security and digital transformation.
Speaking to media persons, Sh. Vij said that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure, India has witnessed unprecedented progress in every sector, while public confidence in governance has also strengthened considerably. He said that rapid infrastructure development and the digital revolution have helped India establish a strong and distinct identity on the global stage.
Highlighting the country’s economic progress, the Minister said that India has risen from the 11th position to become the world’s fifth-largest economy under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, reflecting the nation’s growing economic strength and international influence.
Sh. Vij further stated that India’s global image has undergone a historic transformation over the past few years. Referring to the country’s response to terrorism, he said that earlier reactions were limited to condemnation and tributes after terrorist incidents, whereas today India has emerged as a nation capable of taking decisive action against terrorism.
He said that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the country has adopted a firm and proactive policy against terrorism. Operations such as the Surgical Strike and “Operation Sindoor” demonstrated India’s capability to destroy terrorist hideouts and safeguard national security and dignity.
The Minister added that the three lions in India’s National Emblem symbolize strength, courage and self-confidence, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked to establish India globally in line with these ideals.
He said that India is today achieving new milestones in self-reliance, development and national security, and the global community now views the country with renewed respect and confidence.
