Union Minister Piyush Goyal Invites Global Businesses to Partner with India and Andhra Pradesh at 31st CII Partnership Summit

Visakhapatnam to Host CII Partnership Summit on November 12–13; Goyal Highlights India’s Investment Potential and Centre-State Cooperation

New Delhi : Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal addressed the curtain-raiser event for the 31st CII Partnership Summit, scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on November 12–13.

Addressing the event alongside Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Goyal highlighted the growing ambitions of Indian businesses and the expanding opportunities emerging from India’s economic growth and global trade engagement.

The Union Minister said that Indian businesses are more ambitious than ever, while India is increasingly emerging as a preferred destination for investment. He pointed to the country’s rapidly expanding economy and growing network of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as key factors creating new opportunities for businesses and investors.

Focus on Andhra Pradesh’s Growth and Prosperity

Goyal also highlighted Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s efforts towards promoting growth and prosperity in Andhra Pradesh.

He emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts between the Centre and the State, describing such cooperation as “TEAM INDIA” and stressing that people are the biggest beneficiaries when the two levels of government work together.

Global Businesses Invited to Partner with India and Andhra Pradesh

Building on the success of last year’s summit, Goyal invited global businesses, investors and innovators to participate in the upcoming CII Partnership Summit and explore opportunities to partner with India and Andhra Pradesh.

He called upon the global business community to become part of India’s journey towards shared growth and mutual prosperity, with the Visakhapatnam summit expected to provide a platform for strengthening business partnerships, investment opportunities and innovation-led cooperation.
