New Delhi : In a major move to enhance public access to authentic Ayurveda knowledge, the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), under the Ministry of Ayush, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Anuvadini AI, an AI-driven translation platform developed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The partnership aims to bridge linguistic barriers by translating CCRAS’s research publications and educational resources into 13 regional languages, including Hindi. This initiative is expected to significantly expand the reach of evidence-based Ayurveda knowledge across diverse regions of the country.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalised between Rabinarayan Acharya and Buddha Chandrasekhar, marking a key step in integrating advanced language technology with traditional Indian healthcare systems.

Anuvadini AI leverages artificial intelligence to translate complex technical, scientific, and governance-related content into multiple Indian and international languages, ensuring wider dissemination of credible information.

With a network of 30 institutes spread across 25 states, CCRAS plays a vital role in scientific research in Ayurveda. Its flagship publication, the CCRAS Bulletin, along with various Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials—primarily available in English—will now be translated to improve accessibility and reduce the spread of misinformation.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Acharya highlighted that the collaboration reinforces CCRAS’s commitment to making research outcomes accessible to people in their native languages, beyond academic circles. Dr. Chandrasekhar noted that the platform is designed to democratise knowledge by making it inclusive and widely available.

Looking ahead, the initiative may expand to include foreign languages, particularly in countries where the Ministry of Ayush and CCRAS have established Ayush Chairs, thereby promoting global access to authentic Ayurveda knowledge.
