New Delhi : In a strong diplomatic statement amid escalating tensions in West Asia, Majed Al-Ansari, spokesperson for Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs, asserted that the “total destruction” of Iran is neither possible nor a viable solution.

Emphasizing the country’s deep historical roots, he remarked that Iran has existed for thousands of years and will continue to remain a part of the region’s future. Stressing the importance of coexistence, Al-Ansari noted that nations in the region are bound by geography and must find ways to live together peacefully.

He further underlined that eliminating any country or its people is not an acceptable option under international norms, calling instead for constructive dialogue and diplomatic efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict.

Reiterating Qatar’s position, he urged all stakeholders to seek a peaceful path forward, highlighting the urgent need for de-escalation and long-term regional stability.
