AAI to Observe Yatri Seva Diwas Tomorrow with a Series of Passenger-Centric Initiatives

New Delhi : Airports Authority of India has always placed passengers at the heart of its operations, and Yatri Seva Diwas is an occasion to celebrate this special relationship with them. Nivedita Dubey, Regional Executive Director, Eastern Region, Airports Authority of India, announced that all AAI airports will observe Yatri Seva Diwas tomorrow on 17th September 2025 with a series of passenger-centric initiatives.

Airports in the Eastern Region will welcome passengers with traditional gestures, set up special help desks, and organize activities such as tree plantation drives, folk dance performances, painting and quiz competitions for children, photo booths with airport branding, blood donation camps, and free health check-up kiosks. School visits will also be conducted to familiarize students with career opportunities in aviation, while passenger feedback and influencer outreach will help further improve services and highlight facilities available.

She also spoke about the  recent inauguration of Purnea Airport in Bihar by the the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, calling it a significant step in AAI’s commitment to enhance regional connectivity and extend better services to passengers.
