Gurugram : DC Ajay Kumar has appealed to the farmers to manage the stubble in their fields scientifically instead of burning it this year. He informed that under the Crop Residue Management (CRAM) Scheme 2025-26, the Haryana Government is providing subsidy of Rs 1200 per acre to the farmers for stubble management. To avail the benefits of this scheme, farmers are required to get themselves registered.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare,
Online applications were invited till 20 August 2025 for providing subsidy on agricultural equipment under CRAM Scheme 2025-26. Now these applications will be selected by the District Level Executive Committee. The selection process (draw) will be held on 09 September 2025 at 03:30 pm in the meeting hall (first floor) of DC office located at Mini Secretariat Gurugram. DC Gurugram will preside over the draw.
Assistant Agricultural Engineer, Gurugram Yadavendra said that applications have been received for a total of 16 types of agricultural equipment in the district, including Self Propelled Reaper 7, Smart Seeder 2, Special Zero Drill 6, SMS 4, Happy Seeder 1, Sub Master/Rotary Slasher 2, Reversible Plow 15, Zero Drill 27, Super Seeder 109, Crop Reaper 6, Straw Chopper 3, Surface Seeder 1 and 6 applications for Tractor Mounted Loader. Applications have also been made by farmers of Scheduled Caste category. As per the guidelines received from the headquarters, all eligible applications of this category have been accepted. He said that after selection, the benefit of grant will be given to the farmers on the basis of seniority list. The selected candidates will have to submit their required documents to the office of Assistant Agricultural Engineer, Gurugram by 12 September 2025.
