Gurugram : A poster making competition was organized in Government College Sector 9 on the occasion of International De-addiction Day. Through this competition, the message of staying away from the bad habit of drugs was given to the students. The students made wonderful posters to stay away from drug addiction and pledged to live a drug-free life. On this occasion, Principal of Government College Salhaheri, Dr. Geetika was present as the chief guest.
While addressing the students, Dr. Geetika said that youth is the strength of the country. The country can be taken forward on the path of progress only when the youth stay away from drug addiction and move forward by working hard in life. She also inspired the students to give the message of staying away from drugs to their friends and relatives.
On this occasion, Principal of the college, Dr. Neelam Dahiya said that discipline is very important for success. Drug addiction can turn your success into failure. That is why one should always stay away from drug addiction. Drug addiction not only weakens you physically but also causes mental and financial harm. That is why one should always stay away from drug addiction.
The coordinator of the program Dr. Harish Kumar administered oath to all the students to stay away from drug addiction. On this occasion, Dr. Priyanka Balhara along with other professors and staff members of the college were present.
