Gurugram : The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Manesar, proudly celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with great zeal and unity on its campus. Aligned with this year’s global theme — “One Earth, One Health” — the celebration brought together ICATians in the spirit of wellness and harmony.
To commemorate the day and raise awareness about the benefits of yoga, ICAT employees gathered early in the morning to participate in a group yoga session held within the premises. The event saw active participation from staff members across departments, all joining in to experience the physical and mental benefits of yoga.

During the main ceremony, ICAT Director Saurabh Dalela addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Yoga Day. He remarked,
“International Yoga Day, observed every year on June 21, is a global celebration of the physical and spiritual strength that yoga brings to our lives.”
The idea of International Yoga Day was first proposed by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly on September 27, 2014, suggesting June 21 as a day to honor and spread the message of yoga worldwide.

Adding value to the event, Yoga Expert Mr. Prakash led the session and provided practical yoga tips to the participants, making the experience both insightful and refreshing.
The celebration reflected ICAT’s continued commitment to promoting health, mindfulness, and holistic well-being among its employees. The presence of ICAT officials and the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of staff members made the event a resounding success.
