New Delhi : According to the Media reports after the announcement of these tough decisions by India, the Pakistan government called a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) on Thursday (24 April 2025). The three army chiefs also attended this meeting chaired by Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif.
As per the media reports Pakistan took several retaliatory decisions after the NSC meeting. In response to India’s announcement of closing the Wagah border, Pakistan also announced the closure of the Wagah border. When India issued an advisory to Pakistan to leave the country, Pakistan also issued an order to all Indians present in its country to leave the country by April 30. Many decisions were taken in the meeting of Pakistan’s National Security Committee. Pakistan said that if India stops water, it will be considered a war.
India announced the suspension of visa services for Pakistani citizens with immediate effect. In response, Pakistan decided to cancel all visas issued to Indians under the SAARC visa scheme. All Indians who are in Pakistan have been ordered to leave the country within 48 hours.

Pakistan rejected India’s decision to suspend the Indus Water Treaty after the Pahalgam terror attack and said that it is a lifeline for 24 crore Pakistanis. Panicked Pakistan accused India of violating international law. Fearing India’s action, Pakistan said that it had no hand in the Pahalgam attack. A statement issued by the Pak PMO said that India’s decision will increase political tension and will hinder the establishment of peace in the region.
Pakistan said that the Indus Water Treaty is an international treaty mediated by the World Bank and there is no provision for unilateral suspension in it. On the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, Pakistan said that it is the lifeline of its 240 million people and its availability will be protected at all costs.
Pakistan has said that it unequivocally condemns terrorism. Pakistan has banned all trade with India, including trade through third countries. Any threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty and security will be responded to strongly in every way.
