-Milk dairy operators are migrating from Haryana due to this action of the government

Gurugram, March 25 : “Desa men Des Haryana Jit Doodh Dahi Ka Khana ” the proverb may be in Haryana, but the government in Haryana is doing injustice to milk producers. By collecting cess tax imposed by the INLD government about 25 years ago, the government has burdened the farmers and milk producers with the burden of cess tax instead of giving any relief to them. Ashok Buwaniwala, Chairman of Haryana Congress Industry Cell, has stood up for the rights of milk producers and farmers with the demand that the government should give relief to milk producers by removing the cess tax.

Ashok Buwaniwala said that this cess tax was implemented during the INLD government. Milk dairy operators have been greatly affected by this tax. As per the rules, this tax should go to the milk producers, but since its implementation till now, it is not known where this tax is going. The government collects cess tax from milk dairy operators, but it is not reaching the farmers and milk producers.

Ashok Buwaniwala, chairman of Haryana Congress Industry Cell, said that this cess tax is also due from many dairy operators. Many operators have also deposited the tax with the government. The present government had also launched a scheme called one-time settlement regarding cess tax. Under that scheme, some tax exemption was provided. The tax which was earlier 10 paise per liter was reduced to 5 paise per liter about a year ago. Even then this tax amounted to crores. He said that instead of giving a scheme, BJP should work to give relief to milk dairy operators and milk producers by eliminating the cess tax. Because this tax is not only in India, but is not applicable anywhere in the world except Haryana.

Its case is also going on in the Supreme Court. The government is not paying any special attention to it, due to which the milk industry is migrating. There used to be more than 500 dairies in Haryana, which have now reduced to about 300. Most of the dairy operators have shifted to Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. There is no cess tax on milk. Ashok Buwaniwala reiterated that either the government should give the cess tax money to the milk producers, or abolish this tax. Milk dairy operators have to get milk from other states as well, which is very expensive.

Haryana Congress Industry Cell Chairman Buwaniwala said that many milk dairy operators have migrated from Haryana due to the burden of cess tax. More than 200 milk dairy operators have migrated from Haryana. Due to which employment has also been affected. The government is directly responsible for this. If the cess is removed, there will be more progress in Haryana. More and more milk dairy operators will do their business here. F
