Kurukshetra 13 December : Department of Economics Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra announced the starting of Professor Prem Chand Jain memorial lecture. This has been made possible by the contribution of Rupees 3 lakh by Akshay Jain ,the beloved son of late Professor PC Jain who has made a mark in Public Economics while in Kurukshetra University during 1962 to 1988. On this occasion the Vice Chancellor Pofessor Somnath Sachdeva recalled his association with late Professor P C Jain.
Professor M M Goel student of late professor P C Jain, Professor Manjula Chaudhary, Dean academic Affairs, Prof Ashok Chauhan, Chairman, Department of Economics, Dr Archna Chaudhry, Prof Anil Mittal, Director KUKAA, Dr Kanwal Garg, Dr.Vivek Chawla , Meera Jain w/o Akshay and Dr Leena Goyal were also present there on this occasion.
Vice Chancellor Professor Somnath Sachdeva also congratulated Economics department and released two books, one edited by Professor Ashok Chauhan on Skill India and another written by Dr Archna Chaudhry on Money and Financial Markets.
