Gurugram : Rotary Public School, Sector- 22 Gurgaon ushered in the Christmas spirit with a joyful celebration. The school wore the festive look and was decorated tastefully. Interclass Carol Singing Activity by the juniors and the Senior Play – ‘The Three Wise men’, was much appreciated. Christmas candles and The Little Santas dancing to jingle bells rang in the festive fervor.
A tableau on the significance of the Christmas Symbols was informative and colorful. Wishing the children Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year the Principal Ms Gulshan Dewan evoked the children to keep up to the ideals of Jesus Christ and spread cheer around.
A team of Rotary Interact Club of Class XI visited Arushi Homes, an orphanage in Sector 21 to celebrate Christmas. This orphanage has about 55 children. The school students distributed woolens and eatables to the children. The celebration was done to bring smile on the faces of the young orphans so that they would also enjoy the season’s celebration. This activity inculcated habit of sharing and caring in the students at school level.
