KALEIDOSCOPE OF ACTIVITIES in Lion Public School

12-dec-7-aGurugram : Co-curricular activities in Lion Public School are an integral part of education. To augment the innate talents of the children they are placed in different activities and clubs. There they learn various new things and tasks. This instills confidence in them. At the end of the session all the co-curricular activities showcase whatever they have learnt in the course of the year. On 8th December, there was Activity Presentation for classes VI-X.

Literary and Journalism children came dressed like different authors and discussed about their books. Some children enacted Idioms and the audience guessed them, which everyone found amusing.
Dramatics Club children enacted a drama “The Bishop’s Candlesticks”. They also presented a ‘street play’ on ‘How to follow a healthy lifestyle’.
Heritage club children gave a beautiful presentation on the specialty of each state of India, giving the message of ‘unity in diversity’.

Taekwondo children were really good at their techniques about self-defense. Yoga activity children showed the mind-body co-ordination through various asana.
More than 50 children from aerobics activity stole the show when they danced to the beat of music in a graceful manner exercising each part of their body. Skating children also performed numerous styles and techniques of the game.

Home-Science and craft activity children showcased innumerable items made by them. The show concluded by a thunderous applause by the students. Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash encouraged the students for this wonderful show and motivated them to walk that extra mile to achieve success in all their endeavors. Vice Principal Ms Indu Kaushik congratulated the children for the interest they had shown .School Manager Mr Rajiv Kumar said that co-curricular activities enhance personality and in this competitive world it is important to excel in every field.
