Chandigarh : A General meeting of Housing Societies Residents Welfare Federation (Regd.) Chandigarh was held today at 3:30 PM in Trishakti Mandir, Sector 49 today under the chairmanship of Sh. Kamal Kant Gupta which was attended by around 150 officer bearers from different societies situated in sector 48 to 51.
Sh. Praladh Bhagat Vasudeva, General Secretary informed the members present in the meeting about the latest position of different issues like:-
1 Transfer of society flats,
2 Execution of Convenance Deed,
3 Conversion from leasehold to freehold,
4 Issue of completion certificate to the societies.
Etc. etc. lying pending with the Chandigarh Administration and poor response being given by the officers of the administration on these issues.
Sh. Davinder Kumar Gupta, Chairman, Housefed informed the members that representations has already been given to the Senior officers of Chandigarh Administration but they are not serious on the society issues.
Keeping the present situation in mind it was unanimously decided by the members present in the meeting to organize a Dharna on 26.3.2017 from 10AM to 1 PM to highlight the demands of Society Residents. Venue of the Dharna will be decided and intimated to the members shortly.
