Berlin: The Embassy of India in Berlin hosted the 2nd edition of Viksit Bharat Run 2026, bringing together members of the Indian community for a 3-km run dedicated to the spirit of Viksit Bharat.
The event aimed to promote fitness, unity and a shared commitment to the nation, while fostering a stronger sense of community among Indians living in Germany.
Indian Ambassador to Germany Ambassador Ajit V. Gupte flagged off the run from the Embassy of India in Berlin, with participants making their way towards the city’s iconic Siegessäule (Victory Column).
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation across generations, with participants ranging in age from 4 to 70 years.
The Viksit Bharat Run served not only as a fitness initiative but also as a celebration of community spirit, national pride and collective participation among the Indian diaspora in Berlin.
